The project Is easily some of the coldest and ruthless experiences this genre has to offer! I’m telling you now, this competes with the best of them!
So this EP was released in 2021 but by the sounds of it came out in the 80s that’s how good this EP is authentically sounding pure savage brutal black metal
For example, the harsh instrumentation sounds like it was when this genre genre first came to light or should I say first came into darkness void of any light
But regardless the music is sharp it’s dark it’s depressing just the way you want! just like Mindless self-indulgence says ‘I like coffee black just like my metal’ and truer words could not have been spoken
Also considering the length! A record doesn’t have to be super long, just utilising 12+ minutes in the best way possible!
It’s like drinking a can of sonic caffeine for your day at work or the family life, regardless of what you do enjoy your day and listen to some good old black metal!
What was also impressive is the performances!
Man, they go insane as harsh as I’ve heard in a while!! I think it’s the most brutal vocals I’ve heard since bands like
-Carpathian Forest
-Mayhem
-Immortal!
It’s just that good!
So if you’re in the mood for a savage EP, one to rock your world and throw you to the side this one is it!
It’s short and bitter, it’s rough and it’s a steel cap boot to the ass to all mainstream metal selling out to sound like absolute idiots for the paycheck!
